Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Program Manager

Key Role:
Serve as a part of Booz Allen’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Team and play a key role in the execution of inclusion and diversity priorities. Support the development and execution of the firm’s multiyear DEI strategy and develop and implement programs designed to ensure a diverse and inclusive organization and enhance the ability to attract, develop, and retain a high performing and diverse workforce. Collaborate with the Learning and Development team to drive diversity education programs and service offerings. Support process reviews to reveal any barriers to an inclusive culture and valuing and managing diversity inherent in the system. Use expertise in project management to support the execution of DEI projects and develop and track metrics for measuring the effectiveness of corporate inclusion and diversity initiatives and strategic partnerships. Support Business Resource Groups (BRGs) and other stakeholders, including executive sponsors and DEI Champions across the business, to proactively to support meeting DEI and business strategy objectives. Ability to travel is required. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, US citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with consulting, human resources, or Diversity, Equity Inclusion
-5+ years of experience with project and program management
-Experience with using data-driven decision making

-Ability to write proficiently in DEI topics

-Ability to think strategically and programmatically in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to manage project and external partnership budgets for the firm
-Ability to travel as required
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, and Word
-Ability to develop effective relationships with peers and leaders across a matrixed organization
-Ability to influence without authority, think proactively, and function independently as a self-starter
-Ability to pay strict attention to and apply appreciation for details and organization
-Ability to communicate complex information in an approachable manner
-Ability to develop quick turn-around, practical recommendations based on data and research to inform strategic decisions in a fast-moving environment
-Ability to apply a strategic mindset with a results orientation and bias towards action and creative problem solving
-Ability to collaborate and work well across functions

-Possession of excellent PowerPoint presentation skills
-Possession of excellent interpersonal, consultative, and analytic skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
