Employee Engagement Content Specialist

Key Role:

Work as an employee engagement content specialist to help employees affiliate with and comprehend Booz Allen. Engage both existing and prospective employees by writing and managing compelling content, including internal news content, Web site copy, blog posts, multimedia, and social media content. Add value by actively and diplomatically engaging internal business partners and stakeholders and maintaining a cohesive brand voice. Create, own, and manage day-to-day content across our primary internal channels, using available data and content metrics to evolve the content for the needs of the employee and the firm overall. Identify content for front-line employees, business leaders, and executives that help tell our story. Thrive in a team environment and be passionate about shaping your and others’ content to be clear, authentic, and impactful. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience with content strategy

  • Experience with communications for employee audiences at all levels, including executive

  • Experience with writing and developing content in various formats, including Web site copy, downloadable content, blog posts, advertising, video, and e-mails

  • Experience with developing, testing, editing, and improving content

  • Experience with content inventories, content distribution models, message matrices, content migrations, asset management, and taxonomies

  • Ability to maintain consistency with content standards and brand voice

  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications

  • Ability to take integrated campaigns from concept to execution

  • Ability to write and edit content in a wide range of styles, voices, and formats

  • Ability to work with teams to meet tight deadlines

  • Ability to translate complex content needs into clear, engaging narratives that make logical and emotional connections and create measurable results
