The Challenge:
Are you passionate about Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and working within a corporation to drive positive societal impacts? As an ESG professional, you want to bring to life a measurable and decision-useful aspect of our Purpose and Values, and to support sustainable value creation for our stakeholders through enhanced transparency and the integration of ESG considerations into business strategy. At Booz Allen, you’ll join a global team of experts driven to excel and realize values-driven change for our clients, colleagues, and communities. We bring bold thinking to complex challenges across analytics, artificial intelligence, cyber, digital solutions, engineering, and consulting, and with industries ranging from defense to health, energy, and international development.
As an ESG Associate, you’ll create trusted partnerships with colleagues from across the firm and collaborate with fellow members of the Legal, Ethics, and Compliance team to protect and advance the company while navigating the complex, multifaceted, and often novel ESG risks and stakeholder interests we face today. You’ll draft disclosures and communications for a variety of platforms, for internal and external stakeholders, that reflect our business, our ESG strategy, and an awareness of stakeholder priorities. You’ll support our annual ESG reporting cycle and implement strategies to drive adoption of our ESG data management and reporting software. You’ll prepare briefings that deliver data-driven findings and recommendations to a broad set of cross-functional audiences and executives. You’ll demonstrate agility and an ability to balance work priorities, while gaining a diverse set of experiences, when supporting senior managers on a variety of projects and tasks where additional assistance is needed.
In this role, you’ll grow your knowledge and skills by working with subject matter experts as corporate priorities evolve. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to drive positive outcomes. Guided by Booz Allen’s Purpose and Values, together we’ll anticipate and proactively prepare for the issues we’ll encounter tomorrow.
