Key Role:
Compile and analyze financial information for the organization. Lead key input related to the financial performance and provide analytical support for annual and multi-year financial forecast and costs management activities. Participate in the forecasting of underlying assumptions, accounting treatment, and cost treatment. Interface with key stakeholders across the institution on financial forecasts and reporting. Perform financial analysis, including analyzing internal financial reporting, performing root-cause analysis, and identifying implications and impacts to our business. Build dynamic Microsoft Excel financial models for a range of audiences, including non-finance staff to perform scenario analysis around budgets. Serve as a trusted advisor to identify financial risks and opportunities, providing advice and recommendations to mitigate cost impacts. Champion financial processes, tools, and best practices and guide clients through routine processes, adhering to the published cadence for budget and forecast updates and variance analysis. Learn and become fluent in different financial paradigms to communicate effectively with stakeholders in various parts of the company. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of experience with financial analysis and corporate financial planning and analysis
Experience with developing and mentoring staff at all levels and building an internal capacity to deliver high quality and highly innovative analytics services
Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel at an advanced level
Ability to perform financial analysis
Ability to communicate results to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively, including presenting to senior executives, industry conferences, technical seminars, or meet-ups
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with government services
Experience with Tableau or managing large datasets for analysis
Experience with Oracle Planning and Smartview
Possession of excellent critical thinking skills to bring value to the improvement of financial performance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
