Financial Analyst, Sr

Key Role:

Provide support for the development of company-wide and market-specific financial performance metrics, including backlog, headcount, revenue, cost, job profit, and P&L drivers for reporting to the leadership team and external reporting, such as MD&A. Support the analysis of trends and conduct what-if and trade-off analyses to provide insight regarding meeting growth targets, maximizing revenue, and improving competitive advantage. Analyze, report, and consolidate forecast data in support of internal and external reporting needs. Support the development and maintenance of robust financial analytics establishing the strategic direction of the company. Provide clear oral and written explanations of methodologies and assumptions behind all analyses and field questions from company leadership regarding results and findings.

 

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience in financial analysis, including forecasting and statistical analysis

-Experience with Microsoft Excel to model business situations and conduct scenario analyses to address questions from senior leadership

-Knowledge of financial disclosure and compliance requirements

-Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
-BA or BS degree

 

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with using Hyperion Essbase and Oracle BI products preferred

-Knowledge of financial accounting software

-Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM

-Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment while independently managing projects and initiatives

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate complex information to an executive audience

-CFA Certification
