The Challenge:
Are you searching for a position where you can use your food services skills to make a difference? An effective food services operation requires significant oversight of mess personnel and knowledge of food and health regulations to ensure proper nutrition and health of personnel. With that level of oversight, you need a skilled food services professional examining how food preparation activities are compliant and keeping the program on the path to success. That’s why we need you, a food services professional who can ensure success through careful oversight and effective communication.
We have an opportunity for a food services professional to join our international team as we provide a full range of security oversight to a U.S. Air Force (USAF) client in a remote Southeast Asian region. As a member of our team, you will oversee all food service operations at this location to support dining facility functions, which prepare and serve 3 meals per day, 7 days per week, for up to 30 U.S. government and contractor personnel. You’ll work as an integral part of an overseas team by providing supervision, training, and assistance to mess personnel performing food preparation and support service activities, as necessary. Tasks may also include meal planning, performing inventory, and ordering food from various vendors. The real power of an effective food service operation comes from communication, so you’ll have daily interactions with base staff, create status updates, tracking spreadsheets, and make experience-based recommendations for improvement to program leadership. Join us, and be part of the team ensuring our client’s mission critical program remains on track. This position is open to temporary remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.
