GIS Developer, Mid

Key Role:

Collect and analyze imagery or remote sensing data in support of software applications which utilizes geospatial data in areas such as national security, national resource management, and health or urban planning. Support the analysis of Army or USACE data in comparison to requirements to develop applications which support decision making and task planning. Ensure efficient usage, accountability, and testing of geospatial data applications. Interface with clients frequently. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with Army, USACE, or DoD GIS programs

  • Experience with SDSFIE data model

  • Experience with Enterprise Geospatial Oracle Databases, ArcSDE, and ArcGIS Server

  • Experience creating geospatial requirements and test cases for geospatial applications

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience creating MXDs and publishing data to ArcGIS server

  • Experience creating application users guides and quick reference guides

  • Experience with supporting application users in troubleshooting errors and updating geospatial data to pass set standards

  • Experience supporting application help desk and interacting with geospatial and non-geospatial users

  • Experience with Map Server

  • Experience with Jira and Confluence

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.

Colorado: $55,100 - $115,100 (annualized USD)

New York (including New York City): $58,600 - $140,700 (annualized USD)
