Global Head of Tax Director

Key Role:

Serve as the Global head of Tax for Booz Allen Hamilton and lead the global tax department. Manage tax matters and develop tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities, support business growth, and oversee compliance across our global operations. Identify opportunities for tax savings and optimization in various regions, including transfer pricing, tax incentives, and international tax planning. Oversee compliance with all tax laws and regulations in every jurisdiction where BAH operates. Lead, mentor, collaborate with, and develop the team of outside tax professionals serving BAH, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with other departments such as Legal, Finance including Corporate Development and Business Finance and FP&A functions, and Operations to ensure a cohesive approach to tax matters. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in global taxation, including progressively responsible roles in a multinational corporation or tax consulting firm
  • Experience building relationships with tax authorities in various jurisdictions and represent the company during tax audits or negotiations
  • Knowledge of international tax laws, regulations, and treaties
  • Ability to identify tax issues, opportunities, and upcoming tax legislation to ensure our business strategy can be achieved
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations, navigate tax disputes, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to convey complex tax concepts to leadership in various functional areas
  • Ability to display strong ethical values and commitment to compliance and integrity
  • Bachelor’s degree in Taxation, Finance, or Accounting

Additional Qualification:

  • Experience with federal government contract preferred
  • Possession of excellent management and leadership skills in both inhouse and outsourced environments
  • Possession of excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Master's degree preferred
  • CPA certification preferred

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $158,800.00 to $295,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
