Hazardous Area Project Manager

Key Role:

Lead the development of client facilities and infrastructure requirements throughout the life cycle via creative approaches that achieve desired functional end-states. Develop innovative solutions based on advanced principles within the facilities industry. Apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in OCONUS travel in hazardous areas to include high and elevated risk areas
  • Knowledge of drawing reviews, site surveys, change orders, contractor oversight, quality assurance, final project acceptance and final project approvals
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adjusting priorities as required
  • Ability to coordinate and assist third party construction firms in such a manner as to ensure project success, to include being on-budget, on-time, within scope, with an acceptable level of quality given the project requirements and the environment
  • Ability to coordinate construction activities between all disciplines, including architectural, mechanical, electrical, safety, security, logistics, communication and other project functions
  • Ability to manage the Integrated Project Team, which may include security, logistics, telephone, computer system, contracts, facility support officer and construction personnel
  • Ability to coordinate and assist site development, cast-in-place concrete construction, electrical power generation plants and distribution systems, expedient field construction techniques, building systems and oversight of compound construction
  • Ability to assist the Government in all aspects of project planning, design, construction, operations and maintenance, and deactivation, including the development of construction documents and specifications, evaluation of bids, reviewing of shop drawings and submittals, site inspections and quality assurance, evaluation of project modifications and change orders, and validating accomplishment of work claimed on invoices for partial payments
  • TS/SCI clearance required
  • BA or BS degree
