Health Cyber Subject Matter Expert, Senior Manager

Key Role:

Build and grow Cybersecurity service offerings, lead client engagements, including all aspects of marketing and proposal development, delivery, and execution, and provide leadership to a team of professionals. Support Military Health client projects within the Cybersecurity domain. Lead project workstreams, synthesize and analyze complex data, and work with the team to develop high-quality interim and final deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Coordinate with senior leaders to develop new business opportunities and author the technical approach for proposals. Lead strategy development, design, implementation, and operations of Cybersecurity capabilities, including security program development, security architecture, security tools and technology, medical device security or rationalization, security operation centers or fusion centers, data protection, threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management. Manage the shaping and delivering of cutting-edge service offerings using industry leading tools. Lead hands-on implementation processes across multiple leading-edge technologies. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in leading complex, fast-paced technical projects delivery or Cybersecurity efforts for federal or commercial clients in a fast-paced environment

  • 5+ years of experience with device security application, testing, vulnerability analysis, and risk management

  • Experience breaking down complex technical requirements into briefings, presentations, documents, and deliverables for senior executive leadership

  • Knowledge of the latest federal security policies, including FISMA, NIST, and RMF

  • Ability to work with senior partners and executive officers to foster positive client and vendor relationships, identify new business opportunities with existing clients, and develop mutually beneficial partnerships

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in top tier management and consulting firms, including supporting large engagements

  • Experience with leading complex Cybersecurity capability design and implementation projects for large scale environments, including the implementation of new people, processes, and technologies

  • Experience with the Military Health Cybersecurity community, including Veterans Affairs (VA) and Defense Health Agency (DHA)

  • Experience with medical device security

  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) including data modeling and orchestration

  • Experience with coaching and mentoring junior staff on functional expertise

  • Ability to be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment

  • Possession of excellent client facilitation skills

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS), Information Technology (IT), or related field preferred; Master's degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS), Information Technology (IT), or related field a plus
