Healthcare Strategic Planning, Senior Manager

Key Role:

Work as a senior leader and provide healthcare strategic and facility planning and leadership to government clients, including clinical and non-clinical health system professionals. Adapt quickly to comprehend each health client's unique business operations and planning needs and address challenges by employing market research, supply and demand analysis and financial analysis and projections. Work with subject matter experts to optimize business operations and provide strategic planning and recommended facility solutions to healthcare clients. Provide recommendations based on insight and assessments to improve healthcare delivery, access, quality and cost. Develop, socialize, and execute a robust business growth strategy. This position is open to temporary remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications:

-12+ years of experience with direct healthcare strategic and facility planning in a hospital, health system, or major healthcare provider

-10+ years of experience with developing and executing business strategies to achieve successful, quality growth

-Experience with making and delivering strategic decisions as a health planner in an inpatient, outpatient, or clinical setting for a health system

-Experience in working with clinicians and other front-line staff to solve complex business needs

-Experience in a leadership role in a hospital setting or providing health planning consulting in a federal government healthcare setting

-Experience with facilitating or presenting sensitive information and recommendations to senior (SES) level government officials

-Experience with analyzing commercial and government healthcare data to drive decision-making supporting new program development and resource allocation

-Knowledge of inpatient and outpatient operational structures and US healthcare regulatory environment

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with managing teams of 8-10

-Knowledge of integrated healthcare delivery systems and in community planning and interagency collaboration

-Ability to analyze, synthesize, and summarize information for decision making

-Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

-Ability to travel a minimum of 25% of the time to perform work-related tasks

-Possession of excellent critical thinking, administrative, technical, organizational, and client service or consulting skills

-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

-MHA, MBA, or MPH preferred
