IT Operations Director

Key Role:

Provide technical management leadership to various information technology and professional services organizations. Deliver enterprise level IT Operations services and solutions across large Civil Agencies along with documented success in the planning and capture of large-scale government contracts. Direct complex mission focused programs in the areas of IT Service Management, Enterprise IT Modernization, Service Now implementation and continuous development, IT efficiencies, Program or Project Management, IT Strategy, Cloud Migration, Business Operations, and Business Development. Provide leadership to multidisciplinary and large technical teams. Build strong direct leadership teams with a focus on high performance and building an inclusive diverse environment, and execute projects within scope, budget, and schedule. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in leading enterprise level IT Operations services and solutions across large Civil Agencies

  • Experience implementing the ITSM processes, including change, event, asset, capacity, release, problem, knowledge, and incident management

  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and OneDrive

  • Experience in data visualization and graphics tools, including Tableau or Power BI, DevSecOps, Project Management or Knowledge Management tools, such as Microsoft Project, Dynamics 365, Jira, or SharePoint

  • Knowledge of parallel technologies, including IT solutions that enable client missions, Agile software deployment, contact center technologies, and cybersecurity

  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships

  • TS/SCI Clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with VA or HHS a plus

  • SAFe and PMI trained Agile Professional, PMP, ITIL v3-Expert, Security+, and AWS or Azure or Google Cloud certification

  • Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $153,400.00 to $285,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
