The Opportunity:

Our team is looking for an instructional designer with expertise in learning strategy and instructional design to examine complex organizations through an innovative perspective and make recommendations for not just improving learning practices and redesigning training, but also evaluating the effectiveness of that training through the use of evaluation methodologies.

You will be expected to act as a liaison to clients and work in tandem with other ISDs and team members, to effectively and efficiently complete deliverables. You will be required to work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), report out on task accomplishments and status, and work independently with stakeholders. At Booz Allen, our focus is on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our clients and to ensure those solutions are successful long-term. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

  • 1+ years of experience with instructional strategy and design methodologies for adult learners

  • 1+ years of experience with creating high-quality, interactive, and effective learning solutions for classroom, web-based, and webinar delivery

  • 1+ years of experience with supporting dispersed client organizations in the federal or private sector

  • Experience with technical editing, grammar, and writing for instruction and client reports

  • Experience with adult learning theory and instructional technologies

  • Experience with using eLearning development software, such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate

  • Knowledge of how instructional strategy integrates with change management to support organization mission

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with eLearning technologies, including webinar platforms, or LMS

  • Experience working with law enforcement entities or organizations

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written and communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or Instructional Technology

  • Instructional Design, User Experience, or Human-Centered Design certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
