International Trade Compliance, Senior Manager

While serving as a Senior Manager at Booz Allen, you’ll join a global team of experienced professionals that delivers values-driven change for our clients, colleagues, and communities. This role will focus on leading the international trade compliance function for the firm. As the leader of the international trade compliance function for the company, this role plays a key role in paving the way for our company’s strategic objectives and enhancing its functioning and commitment to excellence. You will manage a team of professionals supporting this critical compliance function. You will establish and drive implementation of a multi-year strategy for enhancements to a compliance program to enable business growth. You will collaborate with other enterprise organization stakeholders to design resources, such as training, processes, and controls necessary to propel our company’s strategic objectives.
On our team, you’ll establish trusted partnerships across the firm and collaborate with fellow members of the Legal, Ethics and Compliance team to support and advance the company's goals while navigating the complex, multifaceted, and often novel compliance risks we face today. Specifically, you will bring strategic leadership and vision to help protect and advance the company and enable sustainable growth in the face of a broad range of legal, contractual, and operational legal and compliance risks. You will also help drive strategic objectives aimed to enable rapid growth. You Have:
10+ years of experience working in a legal or compliance role in a corporate or government environment
Experience with leading international trade compliance professionals at government contractors
Experience with guiding clients through difficult international trade compliance issues and creating and enhancing a compliance program, policies, and training cadence
Experience interacting with trade compliance regulators, including the Department of State and the Department of Commerce
Experience with serving as a business partner to leaders and building consensus on complex compliance and transactional issues
Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to strategize and develop integrated, durable solutions scalable for the growth of the firm
Ability to translate technical advice into succinct and clear business solutions
Ability to execute against clear goals, priorities, and success metrics or KPIs
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with leading international trade compliance professionals at government contractors in a professional services or technology firm
Experience with direct commercial sales and foreign military sales of services and products on behalf of a government contractor
Experience leading the integration of key compliance programs into the day-to-day contracting lifecycle and with respect to cross-functional integration, through policy-writing, training, and escalation points
Experience advising contractors operating in the national security space, including U.S. cybersecurity and intelligence agencies
TS/SCI clearance
Master’s degree preferred; J.D. degree a plus

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $122,200.00 to $227,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
