As an attorney on our team, you’ll become a trusted partner to stakeholders across the company. Guided by our purpose and values, you’ll seamlessly collaborate with other members of our Legal, Ethics, and Compliance team to navigate the complex, multifaceted, and often novel legal and compliance risks we face today. Together, you’ll anticipate and proactively prepare for the issues we’ll encounter tomorrow.  

Your specific responsibilities will include directing and assisting with internal investigations regarding compliance with internal corporate policies, legal requirements, and Booz Allen’s Code of Business Ethics and Conduct. You will conduct interviews, gather and analyze relevant internal records, prepare reports and memoranda, and brief leadership on the investigation results and recommendations.  You also will assist with providing legal advice, including business-oriented solutions and related training, to internal business partners.

You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience with conducting and participating in internal investigations, including drafting investigation protocols, conducting witness interviews, and drafting investigation findings and recommendations 
  • Experience with advising and assisting clients in navigating claims and disputes with the Federal government 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal professionals, including paralegals and investigators to conduct fact-finding, gather information and mitigate risk 
  • Ability to manage, handle, and balance a high volume of matters and assignments 
  • Ability to provide evidence of good standing with any US state bar 
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance 
  • JD Degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with data protection, information security, and protecting classified information 
  • Experience with successfully managing paralegals and overseeing trained investigators 
  • Ability to serve as a business partner to develop comprehensive solutions to challenging problems 
  • Ability to show expertise in legal and analytical work and business-oriented approach to problem-solving 
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and manage the workload and simultaneous tasks, and meet deadlines in a changing, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to provide practical and pragmatic advice to legal and business colleagues 
  • Top Secret clearance
