Leadership and Executive Development, Director

Key Role:
Lead a team of instructional designers and program managers to design and execute a holistic leadership development and executive education strategy for the company’s most senior audiences. Support business transformation and growth objectives through an integrated, multi-year leadership development and executive education strategy. Conduct data-driven needs analysis to determine current gaps and future opportunities to prepare leaders for future business opportunities. Oversee and support the evolution of programmatic leadership development experiences. Design and implement a holistic strategy for the firm's “Executive Solutions” including Executive Coaching, Team Solutions, Mentorship, and Sponsorship that drive enterprise business objectives. Collaborate across teams and levels with leaders, stakeholders, internal clients, and colleagues to execute programs and demonstrate ability to deliver against the entire suite of leadership offerings and ensure the services offered align to learner and business needs and adhere to the highest standards of quality, as needed. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in roles and leading teams in Organizational Development, Learning and Development (L&D), Talent Development, or HR strategy
  • Experience with designing, delivering, and scaling Leadership Development curricula for senior audiences
  • Experience with executive presence and gravitas to interact effectively with senior leadership
  • Experience with Instructional Design (ISD)
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate persuasively and effectively to influence decisions
  • Ability to effectively assess and diagnose business needs and develop impactful solutions
  • Ability to respond to rapidly changing demands, priorities, and business needs
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and implement multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in a supervisory role in talen and leadership development
  • Experience in new and existing learning delivery methods and leadership event execution, including ILT, vILT, online learning, webcasts, mobile, social, video, or microlearning
  • Knowledge of business operations, budget management, and vendor negotiations and management
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Master's degree in Adult Learning, Organizational Development, or Human Behavior
  • International Coaching Federation (ICF) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $158,800.00 to $295,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
