Logistics Coordinator, Mid

The Opportunity: 

As a logistics coordinator, you know that every program relies on clearly defined management processes to work. You understand government procurement systems and know that they are critical to ensuring the integrity of the mission. We’re looking for a logistics coordinator like you to apply your engineering and process improvement expertise to develop tools for National Security. Using your knowledge in logistics management you’ll help coordinate all system elements and ensure long-lasting integration and sustainment. 

As a logistics coordinator on our National Security team, you’ll provide expertise in identifying the root cause of procurement challenges, help desk support, and facilities coordination. You’ll use your findings to create a path forward that meets design requirements and ensures functionality. Your experience with the Intelligence Community is essential to ensuring quality when designing mission-critical solutions.

In this role, you’ll use your engineering logistics and materials expertise to contribute to the safety of the Intelligence Community. You’ll partner with senior team members and apply your skills in root-cause analysis and process improvement resolution.

You Have:  

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics

  • 1+ years of experience supporting the Intelligence Community

  • Knowledge of submitting Genesis requests

  • Knowledge of ODNI IT systems and processes

  • Ability to provide logistical support to a specific component within the client's organization

  • Ability to serve as the liaison between customers and vendors for all renovation projects

  • Ability to submit IT help tickets and capable of following them through to completion

  • Ability to work with various components to assist with logistics and facilities requirements

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Bachelor's degree


Nice If You Have:  

  • Knowledge of logistics and facilities functions, including office moves, space tracking, and furniture projects

  • Ability to work with senior levels of leadership

  • Ability to deliver comprehensive tasking reports monthly to senior management

  • Ability to coordinate procurement and tracking of office supplies over multiple buildings

  • Possession of excellent communication skills and comfortable briefing various levels of stakeholders


Clearance:  

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $49,800.00 to $102,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
