M&A Project Coordinator, Mid

Key Role:

Support the client’s deal execution and integration teams throughout the M&A life cycle, including target identification, target due diligence, and post-merger integration. Partner with corporate development leadership to evaluate and integrate the acquired company into the Firm and ensure a successful integration to achieve strategic rationale, value drivers, and synergies. Direct the deal execution and integration processes including structuring and administering Microsoft Project Teams sites, onboarding deal team members, including reading in, providing task authorizations, building and tracking a master schedule and helping the team stay organized from a project planning perspective. Provide consulting and program management including cross-functional collaboration, schedule development/management, risk management and status reporting to each integration effort. Support the advancement of corporate knowledge through continued buildout of diligence templates, integration playbook and associated artifacts. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with post-merger integration, corporate development, consulting, or project management
  • Experience with organizing teams in a fast pace, high pressure environment
  • Experience with administering MS Teams and SharePoint
  • Experience with gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing large amounts of information, including identifying issues and recommending solutions proactively
  • Experience with working with multiple stakeholders with excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize work streams and move quickly among differing tasks appropriately
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in Aerospace, Defense, and Government Services space
  • Experience with MS Project or Smartsheet
  • Knowledge of the M&A life cycle
  • Ability to thrive in fast pace environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to display a strong work ethic with high energy and sense of urgency
