Military Talent Acquisition Manager

Key Role:

Develop and lead a team of military recruiters delivering military talent, including transitioning military professionals, Guard and Reserve, and military spouses, for hire across the firm’s demand needs. Partner with other talent acquisition leaders and business leadership to comprehend the client’s business by function and domain and drive successful delivery of a qualified military talent pipeline. Lead a team that embodies an excellent client service orientation resulting in a successful partnership with hiring managers and the talent acquisition team. Collaborate with the candidate attraction team, other talent acquisition teams, and the business and veteran business resources groups in developing and implementing military recruiting strategies centered on attracting and hiring diverse talent. Identify best practices and innovative approaches that will position Booz Allen as a market leader in military recruiting. Direct and participate in recruiting activities and engage with the business and hiring managers to support and actively recruit at designated events. 

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with talent acquisition

-2+ years of experience leading a recruiting and talent acquisition team

-Experience with identifying and implementing recruiting best practices

-Experience planning and executing large hiring events

-Experience with developing, measuring, and driving results from ROI and other key analytics

-Experience with successfully assessing a team’s skills, capabilities, and gaps and coaching team members to improve performance

-Ability to develop and execute talent acquisition strategies

-Ability to produce briefings and updates for talent acquisition and business leadership

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with leading virtual teams

-Experience recruiting military talent or in a DoD environment

-Experience as a talent acquisition leader within a large consulting organization, delivering talent across multiple business lines

-Experience in working with Workday as an ATS

-Ability to be a solution partner with our client facing team and leverage market intelligence to inform and shape strategies and decisions

-Ability to influence leadership and drive change

-Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree
