Mobility Systems Engineer

We’re looking for an Enterprise Mobility Engineer who will leverage their subject matter expertise and perform product management, system engineering, and integration of mobile technologies into end-to-end client solution initiatives.

As a mobility engineer, you’ll apply expertise in project and product management principles to support a team of functional experts through proof of concept development to production deployment. You’ll leverage knowledge of mobility architectures across many mobile technologies, IT standards, and applications. You’ll analyze problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. You’ll be able to combine your technical experience with communication skills as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. We focus on growing as a team, so we’ll share techniques, work through challenges, and develop new methodologies together.

You Have:

-Knowledge of wired or wireless technologies, including routing and switching, 802.11, and 5G

-Ability to be a self-starter and work independently, readily communicate, coordinate, and consult with greater internal and client teams to drive solutions towards completion

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with Cisco IOS network devices, including routers, switches, or firewalls

-Experience with network monitoring tools, including Splunk, SNMP, and Netflow

-Knowledge of iOS and Android mobile operating systems

-Knowledge of Enterprise Mobility Management applications, including MobileIron, VMware Workspace One, Blackberry UEM, or IBM MaaS360

-Ability to regularly monitor new mobile and wireless technology in addition to the vendor and industry landscape

-Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Secret clearance or higher

-BA or BS degree in Engineering, CS, Information Systems, Communications, or Information Security
