Payroll Help Desk Tier II Specialist

Key Role:

Assist with Payroll Help Desk ticket resolution related to employee inquiries regarding their paychecks. Leverage well-rounded payroll knowledge and communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. Pay strict attention to detail, learn new concepts, and work with large volume payroll in a fast-paced environment. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with payroll systems, including ADP, Workday, or Ceridian

  • Experience with Microsoft Office

  • Knowledge of expatriate employees and military pay

  • Knowledge of multi-state compliance, including taxation and reciprocity rules

  • Ability to calculate a paycheck from gross to net

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with ADP Vantage preferred

  • CPP or FPC Payroll Certification

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.

Colorado: $42,800 - $80,200 (annualized USD)

New York (including New York City): $45,475 - $98,000 (annualized USD)
