Process Improvement Analyst

Key Role:

Lead activities to evaluate business processes utilizing process improvement methodology and technologies. Analyze processes to identify any gaps or redundancies and make recommendations to streamline, eliminate, automate, optimize, and improve existing processes. Create strong internal controls to improve efficiencies and timeliness. Collaborate across teams to review highly complex problems, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations and solutions to ensure quality and consistency. Consult with teams to offer process improvement best practices and provide materials and resources to assist with mapping and documentation.  Prioritize and support initiatives and business needs to deliver results and create impact. Assist team members and support cross-functional activities and projects as needed. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with process creation and mapping
  • 2+ years of experience in a consulting role
  • Experience with using a variety of process mapping software and tools, including Microsoft Visio, virtual whiteboard tools, iGrafx
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in testing solutions with clients and users
  • Experience with creating presentation materials and delivering presentation content to leaders within an organization
  • Knowledge of concepts for process improvement, performance optimization, and change management
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in working with Agile or similar delivery frameworks
  • Experience with supporting Organizational Change Management (OCM)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
