Project Control Analyst, Mid

Key Role: 

Serve as a program control analyst providing contract financial management services for a complex program that supports a government client. Provide risk mitigation and analyze the resolution of financial, contractual, and administrative issues. Prepare monthly financial status reports and other data for internal and external clients. Supports senior management business decisions through financial and business analysis. Works with project and job managers to manage, reconcile, and project cost activity and project revenue, including various cost components, including labor travel, and other direct costs. May develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with program and project financial management or contracting environment 

  • Experience with government contracting 

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel formulas and the effective use in a financial tracking, analysis, and reporting environment 

  • Ability to be a team player, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or accounting

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in a financial analysis role with a Federal Government contracting firm 

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, including VBA and complex formulas and functions 

  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint 

  • Ability to identify, research, discuss, and resolve administrative and financial issues with a team effectively 

  • Ability to learn and teach fundamentals related to the support of program management activities 

  • Ability to respond to directed assignments, think analytically, manage competing priorities, and comprehend financial implications of the business 

  • Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
