Project Control Financial Analyst

Key Role:

Serve as a Project Control Analyst for a newly established Program Management Office. Maintain responsibility for a wide variety of detailed financial and administrative activities for relatively large and complex programs, organizations, or proposals. Anticipate and respond to customer needs and serve as a primary point of contact for customers and subcontractors. Leverage a thorough understanding of program requirements to recommend and develop techniques for estimating parameters for proposals. Prepare budgets and authorize budget expenditures within Booz Allen Hamilton. Provide work leadership for junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with working in a business or financial management environment

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint

-Ability to think analytically and conduct trend analysis

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with federal government contracts

-Experience with supporting FEDSIM contracts

-Experience with Subcontracts and Consultants Management System (SCMS) software

-Experience with Microsoft Excel, including using formulas and functions in calculations and analysis

-Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations, federal budget process, and funds management

-Ability to perform financial forecasts based on bottom-up analysis and historical trends

-Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent leadership skills

-Project Management Professional, Certified Defense Financial Manager, or Certified Government Financial Manager Certification
