Key Role:
Support the DoD as a project scheduler. Leverage a deep comprehension of scheduling practices and requirements to implement Earned Value Management scheduling processes on large programs. Develop baseline schedules and integrate master plans and work breakdown structures. Work directly with project teams, solicit input from the technical team to ensure all internal and external dependencies are documented and tracked, support Integrated Baseline Reviews, interface with other internal teams to develop and prepare resource assignments, identify and document schedule and risk, manage the integrity of the baseline data status, and provide inputs in support of the EVM process.
Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience as a scheduler on large, complex DoD EVMS programs with numerous dependencies to track
-Experience with developing resource loaded and level project schedules using the performance work statement (PWS), technical proposal, WBS, and oral directions from senior project managers and technical leads
-Experience with ensuring internal and external dependencies are documented and tracked for risk management
-Experience with Microsoft Project and providing monthly schedule status processes
-Experience with DoD EVMS baseline change control processes and IPMR reporting
-Experience with Schedule Critical Path Method (CPM) and Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA)
-Knowledge of scheduling theory and EVM best practices
-Ability to collaborate with project control and EV finance analysts in our corporate EVM office
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with supporting Control Account Managers in an Earned Value Management Systems environment
-Experience with generating Integrated Program Management Reports (DID) DI-MGMT-81861 (IPMR) Formats 1-7
-Knowledge of Electronic Industries Alliance EIA – 748D, specifically as it related to scheduling
-Knowledge of Deltek Cobra EVM software
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
-AACE International’s Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) or PMI’s Project Scheduling Professional (PMI – SP) Certification
