Regulatory Compliance and Reporting Specialist

Key Role:

Develop, evaluate, document, apply and implement policies, procedures or regulations to meet organizational, industry, and governmental requirements. Apply advanced theories, principles and concepts associated with government cost accounting. Lead response efforts to government audit requests and reports. Work effectively with other teams across Finance and Accounting.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience with government contract cost accounting, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and their applications
  • Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions
  • Experience with responding to government audit requests and reports
  • Experience with internal audits
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with the preparation and support of annual incurred cost submissions
  • Knowledge of DFARS business systems and internal controls
  • Ability to communicate and present findings to different audiences at various levels throughout the organization
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience with ERP implementation
  • Experience with SOX
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
