The Challenge:
Critical decisions are made every single day in the intelligence community. What if you could use your analytical skills and financial acumen to help them make informed decisions? As a resource analyst, you will tee up internal business decisions, develop and implement program analysis methodologies to better evaluate mission impact, formulate and justify budget requests, assess key expenditure areas to identify efficiencies and adjust priorities, oversee operating year spending, and drive year-round strategic resource planning to inform decision making and convey mission impact. You will use your specialized functional experience and your attention to detail to research and analyze large extensive financial databases, regulations, and policies to support clients' efforts to fund critical intelligence operations. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to advance the Intelligence Community's (IC) mission.
As a resource analyst on our team, you’ll help your client understand their operational landscape and help plan, monitor, and execute complex budgets. As the authority on your client's financial regulations, operational policies and mission, you will be looked to for time critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise and broaden your skill set into areas like all source analysis and performance management. You’ll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources to learn new skills and tools. You Have:
-5+ years of experience with building, monitoring, and executing complex budgets
-Experience with US government accounting practices
-Experience with responding to requests for information and searching automated systems for data
-Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including macros and generating reports
-Ability to produce and contribute to deliverables within a short time frame using Microsoft Office, including Access and Word
-Ability to apply analytical and quantitative expertise
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-BA or BS degree
Nice If You Have:
-Knowledge of data visualization tools, including Tableau
-Ability to manage and prioritize multiple work assignments
-Ability to be a self-starter
-Ability to work independently
-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
-BA or BS degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
