Risk Management Lead

Key Role:

Act as a Risk Management Lead as part of the Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. (Booz Allen) Contracts, Procurement & Pricing (CP&P) organization. Maintain responsibility for the management and support of key risk management processes that enable the identification, evaluation, mitigation, and monitoring of operational and programmatic risk. Provide leadership and collaboration across the organization with a variety of stakeholders on active and emerging risk priorities that cross CP&P and related firmwide activities. Support efforts to create an environment that enables data driven decisions and alignment of action from executive intent to tactical execution. Employ risk management expertise to develop, enhance or maintain key organizational risk tools to drive effective actions and behaviors at operational levels, including risk assessment, standards, policies, procedures, trainings, and communication materials. Develop monitoring and assessment approaches on risk management issues relevant to CP&P. Maintain data related to the risk management function and conduct analyses to support business decisions; apply a data-driven approach to support key programmatic decisions and recommendations. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in professional services executing risk management programs and tools and managing complex projects

  • Experience with developing and executing business strategies and supporting initiatives

  • Experience gathering, synthesizing, and analyzing data and developing strategic business content using Excel

  • Ability to thrive as a self-starter, work as an individual contributor, or work as part of broader team to deliver outcomes based on high-level guidance and expectations

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with agility and adaptability while leading positively through ambiguity and change

  • Ability to handle multiple, competing time and project demands and deliver expected results on schedule

  • Ability to develop and sustain relationships with senior leaders and staff, making every person feel valued

  • Ability to operate as part of a matrixed team and work through others to accomplish goals and deliver outcomes

  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualification:

  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools

  • Knowledge of Global Supply Chain and Procurement topics

  • Ability to learn new tools, platforms, and processes quickly

  • ​MA or MS degree preferred

  • Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), or PMP certification is preferred
