SASE Engineer

The Opportunity:

Everyone is trying to “harness the cloud,” but not everyone knows how to secure it. As a Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) engineer, you know how to assess and implement requirements that ensure the safety of information systems and protect them against intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. We need you to guide the development of SASE security architectures for some of the government's most critical systems.

As a SASE engineer on our team, you’ll implement security architecture utilizing SASE technologies to support mission-critical users and applications. You’ll recommend tools and capabilities based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources to address the risk management framework (RMF). Your technical expertise will be vital as you work with the customer and migration teams to ensure standards are met with information assurance and security requirements. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

You Have:  

-Experience with SASE solutions from a vendor, including Netskope, Palo Alto, Zscaler, iBOSS, or Appgate

-Experience with cloud interconnectivity, network communications, migration strategies, and cloud topologies

-Experience with networking protocols, including OSPF or BGP

-Experience with documenting network security architectures

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:  

-Experience with RAVPN or Site to Site Tunnels

-Experience with security infrastructure and tools, including Palo Alto, Cisco, or Forescout

-Experience with AWS or Azure Cloud networking

-Secret clearance

-Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering

The salary for this position will be determined based on various factors. The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 135,000 to 165,000.
