Security Administrator, Junior

Key Role:

Serve as a part of the Booz Allen Hamilton corporate security division, including administering U.S. government security policies and procedures for the Personnel Security (PERSEC) program in accordance with the NISPOM, DCIDs, ICDs, and other government directives. Act as a team player, exhibit flexibility, set priorities, and manage client expectations in a fast-paced environment. Conduct security briefings and clearance pre-screens, process staff for clearance actions, verify and send visit requests, update various databases, review documentation for accuracy and completeness, and address PERSEC matters with employees. Work in a team environment, handle assigned tasks individually, and perform additional security duties, as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with working in the security field

-Ability to learn various systems, including JPAS, SWFT, DISS, and eQIP

-Ability to learn policies and procedures, including NISPOM, DoD directives, EOs, and ICDs

-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with personnel and industrial security

-Experience with personnel and industrial security

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills

-Bachelor's degree 

-Completion of DSS courses, Personnel Security Management, and Introduction to DoD Personnel Security Adjudication

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
