Security Administrator, Junior

Key Role:

Serve as a part of the Booz Allen Hamilton corporate security division and administer US government security policies and procedures as they relate to the PERSEC program and government directives, with a focus on the adjudicative guidelines across the IC and DoD. Act as a team player, exhibit flexibility, set priorities, and manage client expectations in a fast-paced environment. Work within a team environment, make sound decisions, take independent action, analyze problems, provide focused solutions firm-wide to effectively communicate information to various audiences both orally and through written communications, and perform additional security duties, as assigned. Leverage expertise with administering US government security policies and procedures, as it relates to the personnel security program. Maintain responsibility for conducting security clearance processing, pre-screens, updates to various databases, and review documentation for accuracy and completeness. Address PERSEC matters and other clearance-related actions for personnel requiring clearances for collateral and SCI positions. Interact daily with internal and external clients and government security officials to resolve issues. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of DISS, eQIP, Scattered Castles, and ACCS

  • Knowledge of NISPOM, DoD directives, EOs, or ICDs

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience with personnel or industrial security or 4+ years of experience with personnel or industrial security in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience as an FSO or CSSO

  • Ability to navigate multiple DoD SCI components and intelligence communities

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Possession of excellent customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills

Clearance:

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.

Colorado: $42,800 - $80,200 (annualized USD)

New York (including New York City): $45,500 - $98,000 (annualized USD)
