Security Operations Supervisor

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for day to day physical security functions. Maintain responsibility for policy creation and interpretation for the firm and delivering education and training for the physical security team and possibly firm-wide. Perform all aspects of the physical security team's responsibilities, which include overseeing access control functions and guard activities. Ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and government regulations. Maintain security manuals, including making revisions, as needed. Coordinate aspects of DoD and DoE security programs that relate to the firm. This position requires travel.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with managing administrative matters and budgets, interpreting contracts, and managing performance of vendors and contract staff
  • Ability to clearly define, construct, teach and communicate security policies, procedures, and practices
  • Ability to effectively manage security staff and teams across multiple regions and offices
  • Ability to travel to regional Booz Allen offices on short notice
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience with physical security or law enforcement or BA or BS degree in Criminal Justice, Security, or Law Enforcement and 2+ years of experience with physical security or law enforcement
