ServiceNow Developer, Senior

The Challenge:

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will work with the IT Service Management team analyzing and configuring ServiceNow applications and solutions to implement system stakeholder requirements. You’ll perform hands-on design, testing, debugging, and modification to extend capabilities offered by the ServiceNow platform. You’ll administer ServiceNow applications, including updating security and workflow configurations, integrating with external systems, importing data, creating custom scripts, orchestrate IT automation, remediate defects, and building reports. You’ll provide tool and capability recommendations based on your research of the environment and new technology. You’ll collaborate with a larger team on requirements to analyze, and implement new features, upgrades, and enhancements. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with software design and development
  • 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow development, including core IT Service Management tables, Glide, scripting, business rules, client scripts, data imports, custom apps, and development methods
  • Experience with ITIL
  • Experience with Web technologies, including JavaScript, Angular JS, Ajax, HTML, and CSS
  • Knowledge of Configuration Management and Service Mapping
  • HS Diploma or GED

Nice If You Have: 

  • Knowledge of Windows, UNIX, or Linux systems, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Cloud
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments and use initiative to accomplish results
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and communicate metrics
  • ITIL v3 Foundations or ServiceNow Certification
