As a site reliability engineer on our team, you’ll work with the US government and their affiliates on the development of more robust systems by building a resilient infrastructure. You’ll build in redundancy, implement monitoring tools, and automate wherever possible. You’ll reduce toil by scripting routine tasks and automating self-repair. This is your chance to leverage your expertise in Cloud technologies and cybersecurity while assisting junior engineers and broadening your knowledge base. You Have:
· 5+ years of experience as a site reliability engineer
· Experience with migrating on-premises applications to the Cloud, including AWS
· Experience with Cloud infrastructure and automation tools, including Terraform or CloudFormation
· Experience with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile development environment
· Knowledge of Cloud computing concepts and AWS services and security best practices
· Knowledge of networking and security concepts, including VPC, subnets, and security groups
· Ability to implement security controls
· Ability to design and implement scalable and highly available Cloud solutions and troubleshoot complex technical issues
· Ability to obtain a security clearance
· Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
· Experience with cost optimization techniques and implementing cost-effective Cloud solutions for migrated applications
· Experience with database migration strategies and migrating complex database solutions to the Cloud
· Experience with serverless computing and container orchestration technologies, including AWS Lambda, Amazon ECS, and EKS for application migrations
· Experience with DevOps practices and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for application migrations
· Knowledge of AWS security services and implementing security solutions that meet compliance requirements for application migrations
· Ability to design and implement scalable and highly available Cloud solutions for migrated applications and multi-tier architecture solutions for migrated applications
· Ability to work with on cross-functional teams with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure successful application migrations and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to application migrations

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
