This role is more than just coding. We need a developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify and implement system improvements. Using Agile development in a Cloud environment, you’ll work with the development team to build an advanced microservices platform for a large federal client. You’ll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you’re developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You Have:
10+ years of overall experience architecting, designing, developing, and modernizing IT solutions
6+ years of experience with back-end technologies, including Java, Python, or another relevant OOP language, and single-page front-end technologies, including Angular, React, or Vue.js
5+ years of experience with Linux, Shell scripting, Python or Bash scripting, or RESTful APIs
3+ years of experience working in a cloud environment, including AWS, GCP, or Azure
3+ years with continuous integration (CI) or continuous deployment (CD) pipelines in public or hybrid cloud environments using technologies such as Jenkins, GitLab, Apache Subversion, Ansible, Puppet, and AWS CloudForms
Experience working with a relational database, including PostgreSQL, or Oracle
Experience with application design and development, back-end database architectures, relational or cloud-based, and full life cycle software development
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with creating DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines
Experience with AWS cloud environment management and lifecycles, especially with services such as ECS, EC2, and RDS
Experience with test automation frameworks for systems modernization efforts using integrated DevSecOps toolchains and test-driven development practices
Experience with domain driven architectures and design and development of microservices-based solutions
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Compensation:
The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 140,000 to 160,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
