Software Sales Account Executive

Key Role:

Act as a primary point person to grow the firm's Modzy AI software product's market presence in defined market segments. Work with executives and leaders at customer organizations to understand their challenges and find opportunities for Modzy to support their needs, drive value, and ultimately manage and develop a growing list of clients and book of business. Build and maintain customer relationships to create demand and use those relationships to quickly close new business by helping to define, identify, and pursue key opportunities. Achieve revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per account. Set a strategic sales plan for target markets and ensure it is in line with the business' strategic direction. Collaborate with internal partners, including product, engineering, marketing, and customer success colleagues to provide new use cases, product feedback, winning strategies, and sustained success.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with technology sales
  • 10+ years of experience with successful software sales and quota carrying
  • 7+ years of experience with enterprise sales, including leading software or SaaS providers with expertise in the DoD and IC
  • Experience with working in a fast-growing startup
  • Experience with building consultative relationships with customers, prospects, and partners and establishing trust
  • Knowledge of machine learning, systems architecture, enterprise application integrations, and working with software services
  • Ability to demonstrate a track record of exceeding quota, self-motivation, sense of urgency and follow-through, multi-task, and work multiple sales opportunities simultaneously
  • Ability to use time to achieve operational excellence and demonstrate passion for the software product to help tackle some of the most important machine learning challenges
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including communicating with technologists, developers, and executives
  • Secret clearance preferred
