Key Role:
Serve as a key lead in identifying and winning executable business for Government clients through applying expertise across the business development life cycle, from opportunity identification through execution. Develop and manage senior-level client relationships and extensive community relationships within an industry based in defense industry and government clients. Leverage business development and functional expertise to build addressable market and increased pipeline development in strategic areas for growth. Develop and deploy acquisition strategies for emerging pipeline. Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the clients’ senior management to comprehend their needs and link them to the organization's product or service strategies. Manage key stakeholder relationships, keep the business development leadership team informed, and engage in advancing strategic partnerships with clients and industry partners.
Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with business development activities managing large portfolios within the DoD, Civilian, and Government Acquisition Centers
-8+ years of experience with selling complex solutions that led to the development of capture efforts for defense community and government clients resulting in awards of $250M
-Experience supporting all phases of a large and multi-year capture effort, including strategic planning, teaming, proposals, market, or competitive and price-to-win analyses
-Ability to work as part of an integrated account and opportunity capture team in a matrixed organization with a collaboration and a team-centric culture
-Ability to cross-sell capabilities and solutions into adjacent markets
-Ability to engage key client stakeholders to discuss firm capabilities and services on several large-scale projects
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
-Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience working on solutions in an assisted acquisition environment, including FEDSIM
-Experience with developing and maintaining effective internal and external business relationships with clients and industry partners
-Ability to show expertise in the business development life cycle and solution selling methodologies
-Ability to communicate multi-step and interdependent activities effectively to capture teams and ensure efficient execution of captured efforts
