Strategy and Corporate Development Specialist

Key Role:

Serve the firm's strategy and corporate development team through business diligence support and strategy development. Lead financial forecasting and waterfall modeling and pipeline assessment for mergers, acquisitions, and other investments. Lead inorganic sourcing initiatives with senior leaders of the firm. Leverage expertise in modeling and Excel and strict attention to detail, apply solid comprehension of the federal services market, and show expertise in developing bottoms up Waterfall models to support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) due diligence. Execute the M&A process and interact with senior leaders while leveraging expertise in problem solving and analytics. Mentor and provide guidance and oversight to junior team members. Perform an integral, visible role within the corporate development team, including closely working with a small group of peers and senior leaders and interacting with the firm’s leadership. 

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with strategy consulting and M&A

-Experience with structuring complex problems and delivering insights and recommendations

-Ability to leverage expertise in Excel modeling

-Ability to synthesize large amounts of information, identify issues, and proactively recommend solutions

-Ability to appropriately prioritize work streams and move quickly among differing tasks

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in a government services market

-Possession of excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

-BA or BS degree in Finance, Business, or Economics preferred; MBA degree a plus
