Strategy and Corporate Development Specialist, Senior

Key Role:

Serve the strategy and corporate development team through business diligence support and strategy development. Assist with Waterfall modeling and pipeline assessment for mergers, acquisitions, and other investments. Assist with supporting and evaluating Booz Allen’s broader strategy through inorganic strategy development and market research for proactive mergers and acquisitions (M&A) sourcing. Leverage expertise in modeling and Microsoft Excel, pay strict attention to detail, apply knowledge of the federal services market, and exhibit expertise in developing bottoms up Waterfall models to support M&A due diligence. Demonstrate expertise in problem-solving and analytical work, including focusing on and executing the M&A process and interacting with senior leaders. Perform an integral, visible role within the corporate development team, conduct routine, close work with a small group of peers and senior leaders, and interact periodically with the firm’s top leadership.

Basic Qualifications:
-4+ years of experience in a defense consulting firm, including providing due diligence for M&A
-Experience with structuring complex problems and delivering insights and recommendations
-Ability to leverage expertise in Microsoft Excel modeling and PowerPoint
-Ability to synthesize large amounts of information, identify issues, and recommend solutions proactively
-Ability to apply expertise in problem-solving and analytical work
-Ability to prioritize workstreams appropriately and move quickly among differing tasks
-BA or BS degree
