Talent Planning Strategy Senior Manager

Key Role:

Lead performance management philosophy and strategy as it relates to talent management to include performance goals, goal setting, appraisal/reviews/ratings, and performance evaluation metrics. Apply high potential strategy encompassing definition, identification, assessments and tools, and development. Create and implement succession management and pipeline strategy. Build Leadership Archetypes framework design. Develop leadership assessment framework including High Potential Identification and Development (HIPO) assessments, leadership diagnostics and self-discovery tools, executive hire assessments, role-based promotion readiness assessments, archetype assessments. This position is open to temporary remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience with leading in talent management within business units
  • 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role with experience managing a team of deep subject matter experts in talent management
  • Experience with the design, development, and implementation of a corporate enterprise leadership talent management strategy
  • Experience with the implementation of related data-driven talent planning process and best practices, initiatives and activities that move the meter in talent management to include accelerating development, increasing retention, increasing diverse bench and support equitable decision making
  • Knowledge of how to apply advanced conceptual thinking in complex and new situations
  • Ability to build and deepen trusted relationships, push back where appropriate, and influence to agree upon outcomes and approaches with key talent insights about individual leaders/performance in the context of the client’s market, account, or business groups
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity leveraging data driven insights
  • Ability to consult on HR processes in order to drive standardization at scale
  • Ability to diagnose and consult with senior leaders
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in related talent development field, including leadership development, learning and development or training
  • Knowledge of Human Resources disciplines, including competency modeling, performance management, recruiting, and onboarding
  • MBA, MA, or MS degree in Industrial Psychology, Organizational Development or Behavior, or other Human Resources, business management, or education-related field
  • Completion of a coaching program accredited by the International Coaching Federation or equivalent
