Technical Power Platform Developer, Lead

The Opportunity: 

We are seeking a talented and experienced Technical Power Platform Developer, Lead to join our team. As a Power Platform expert, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. You will play a crucial role in leading technical discussions, guiding and mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative business solutions.

As a Technical Power Platform Developer, Lead at Booz Allen, you’ll develop and configure Power Apps canvas and model-driven applications, custom connectors, and UI components, create and optimize Power Automate workflows and business process automation, and build interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI to provide actionable insights. You’ll serve in a leadership capacity and provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers and business analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. You will conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:  

·       Experience as a senior developer or technical lead specializing in Power Platform technologies

·       Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate (Flow), and Power BI

·       Experience with creating and customizing canvas and model-driven Power Apps using Power Platform's Low-Code/No-Code approach

·       Experience with integrating Power Platform with external systems, such as SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and Azure

·       Experience with Azure services, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure Active Directory

·       Knowledge of data modeling, relational databases, and SQL

·       Ability to lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement

·       Ability to analyze complex business requirements, propose efficient technical solutions, and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively

·       Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or 8+ years of experience as a senior developer or technical lead in lieu of a degree

 Nice If You Have: 

·       Experience with the Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $106,200.00 to $242,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
