Virtual Learning Experience Coordinator

Key Role:

Be responsible for virtual event planning and management, audiovisual setup, and coordination of logistics. Manage large-scale virtual training events or conferences for Booz Allen employees, and coordinate and manage the schedule for virtual training programs, workshops, or events. Lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with subject matter experts, and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Advise on new and existing learning technologies, trends, and systems to deliver learning in a range of modalities, including vILT, online learning, webcasts, mobile, social, video, microlearning, and authoring tools. Serve as a liaison to and escalation point for learning partners, facilitators, stakeholders, SMEs, and vendors, and collaborate with key stakeholders and learning partners to ensure delivery expectations and requirements are met. Leverage deep understanding of available industry recognized content across the spectrum of learning and development service offerings to make recommendations to deliver effective and efficient solutions. Create and manage project plans, including key milestones and deliverables for multiple workstreams balancing resources, schedules, and priorities. Be responsible for deploying virtual training through a 3rd party platform such as a Learning Management System (LMS), and for the day-to-day curriculum or program management and maintenance activities. Use data collection methods such as surveys or attendance rate to contribute to reporting, be responsible for vendor relationships, monitor vendor performance throughout the project life cycle, and ensure that deliverables are in line with Booz Allen’s standards and branding. Leverage available data to monitor and evaluate learning program efficiency and effectiveness, training completion rates, ROI, and business impact in support of best practices and recommendations for improvement. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with an LMS such as Workday Learning, learning experience platforms (LXP) such as Degreed, digital content libraries such as Udemy for Business, and multimedia or eLearning tools used for delivering training content
  • Experience with software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, and project management tools such as Jira
  • Experience developing project plans, setting timelines, allocating resources, and tracking progress towards goals
  • Experience developing a stakeholder register or roster, conducting stakeholder plotting or mapping, and developing a stakeholder management strategy and plan
  • Ability to plan, execute, and oversee multiple learning initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to analyze event needs, evaluate learning product and experience effectiveness, and assess learning outcomes using quantitative and qualitative data
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, unforeseen challenges, or last-minute adjustments in schedules
  • Ability to overcome obstacles and maintain composure in fast-paced or high-pressure situations
  • Ability to be on-line during orientation and graduation of key learning programs to ensure positive and supportive learner experiences
  • Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of experience in business administration, project management, communications, or product management, or 4+ years of experience in business administration, project management, communications, or product management in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience delivering training content that is engaging, interactive, and effective
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training techniques
  • Learning and Development Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
