Wargaming Analyst

Key Role:

Lead teams in the delivery of strategic and operational level exercises, including workshops, seminars, simulations, tabletop exercises, functional exercises, full-scale exercises, computer assisted exercises, and wargames for commercial, international, military, and government clients. Lead clients in scoping projects and shaping exercise objectives. Advise on the design of exercise constructs, authoring scenarios, facilitating planning and exercise discussions, and developing after action reports and briefings. Assist with the application of analysis, strategy development, and organizational processes and procedures to craft exercises that allow participants to test assumptions in a minimal-risk environment and gain stakeholder buy-in. Develop client relationships, identify business opportunities, and assist in the management of a portfolio of exercise projects across multiple industries in coordination with market capability leaders and business development teams. This position requires domestic and international travel up to 40% of the time.

Basic Qualifications:
-6 years of experience in an exercise design role

-2 years of experience with project management, including managing budgets

-Experience with leading small to medium-sized teams and leading and facilitating meetings for mid- to senior-level audiences

-Experience with emergency management, crisis management, or incident management and policy and plan analysis

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs, including PowerPoint

-Ability to communicate complex ideas to diverse client and internal audiences via presentations and written materials and foster strong business enhancing relationships with clients and colleagues to successfully achieve project outcomes and meet the demands of client expectations and project team needs

-Ability to contribute to business development and new business opportunities by preparing proposals, responding to RFPs, or participating in orals
-Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40% of the time
-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with consulting

-Experience executing the Armed Forces Joint exercise life cycle (JELC)

-MA or MS degree

-Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP) Certification

-Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

-HSEEP Certification

-ICS, NIMS, and other IS course certifications
-Completion of a Cyber training program
