Web Designer, Mid

Key Role:
Serve as a web designer and developer with expertise in both print and digital media. Apply expertise in out-of-the-box (OOTB) and custom web sites for SharePoint and a range of contemporary web design and development competencies, including digital banners and ads, brochures, and event materials. Design and develop web sites that are accessible for disabled users in compliance with Federal 508 laws and WCAG 2.0 Level A and AA requirements, including web pages, scripts, and multimedia. Create visual aspects of marketing materials, web sites, and other media, including infographics, brochures, and booklets to support multiple projects and execute on quick-turn direction from clients and creative leads. Translate business strategies into impactful, creative solutions. Apply expertise in design and web development standards to model, design, and code intuitive, functional, and clean web sites and interfaces. Participate in all stages of the project life cycle from the initial concept through development and deployment. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with graphics design and web development and developing portals using SharePoint Server and SharePoint Portal Services infrastructure, architecture, implementation, configuration, management, and support

-Experience in working with HTML5, CSS, responsive design, and JavaScript libraries, including jQuery and Bootstrap

-Experience in working with Adobe CC, including Dreamweaver, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop

-Experience with wireframing, rapid prototyping, interface design, and front-end development

-Knowledge of developing out-of-the-box (OOTB) and custom solutions for SharePoint

-Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with AJAX, ASP, ASP.NET, VB.NET, and XML a plus

-Possession of excellent problem-solving skills, including strict attention to detail

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills for customer relationships across all levels of the organization
