Win Story Specialist, Lead

Key Role:

Develop the overarching win story for Firm and GL Priority bids in collaboration with key capture leaders. Provide a clear and compelling summation of the strategy and solution for achieving contract requirements that frame the proposal response. Develop a clear and compelling storyline during the capture phase as an essential prerequisite to writing a winning proposal. Develop compelling win arguments that map to client challenges and priorities. Prepare Silver Team artifacts that synthesize win story elements into a proposal-ready format tailored to each opportunity. Engage Proposal resources to propagate win story elements throughout proposal responses to maximize scoring. Develop playbooks and training materials. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in capture and proposal development for Defense, National Security, or Civil markets with a major federal government contractor

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Word

  • Experience with graphics software, including Adobe Creative Suite, such as Illustrator and Photoshop

  • Ability to work as a matrixed resource within an integrated capture team

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • BA or BS degree

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing Technical and Management content for written and verbal proposal responses

  • Ability to create common understanding around a concept or solution

  • Ability to visualize complex concepts in a simple, easy to understand manner

  • Ability to consider alternative approaches to problem-solving

  • Possession of excellent project management and analytical skills

  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Possession of excellent teamwork, collaboration, and conflict management skills

  • TS/SCI clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Compensation:

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 160,000 to 180,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
