Windows Systems Administrator

We’re looking for a systems administrator with a solid background in supporting users in dynamic environments to help us mature the infrastructure and operational posture of our Marine Corps client as the scope and demands of their mission continue to evolve.

As a systems administrator on our project, you’ll become part of a highly effective team to not only conduct operations and maintenance, but directly contribute to the enhancement of every information technology component that comprises distinct domains and mobile exercise networks. By leveraging your creative initiative, we will help drive the future. You’ll assist users to overcome technical challenges through regular interactions with all levels of the command hierarchy. You’ll analyze problem areas and identify opportunities for improvement in mission-critical networks. You will be able to combine your technical experience with superior communication skills as you turn metrics into actionable information and communicate their meaning to leaders. This is an opportunity to gain experience in a highly demanding and diverse Windows computing environment with an operational-facing entity. You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with help desk and systems administration

  • Experience in a deskside support role with Windows-based environments

  • Experience as a systems administrator, including Active Directory and fiber optic networking configurations

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • HS diploma or GED

  • Ability to obtain IAT Level II certification within 90 days of hire

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with PowerShell scripting

  • Bachelor's degree

  • MCSA Windows Server 2016 certification

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate Windows 10 or Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
