Key Role:
Provide individual case management in support of requests made by employees and applicants with medical conditions and disabilities across dispersed geographic locations. Conduct ergonomic evaluations and make recommendations to improve workstation set-up, including collaboration with external vendors and facilities counterparts to facilitate the ordering and installation of equipment and furniture. Engage in the interactive process with employees, applicants, managers, and human resources (HR) to determine whether a requested accommodation or workplace adjustment is reasonable. Maintain a case-tracking system to monitor, follow-up, and close-out cases, as appropriate and ensure that all medical documentation is reviewed and maintained on a confidential basis. Provide consultation and coaching regarding accommodation matters to HR consultants and other internal teams and resolve escalated inquiries. Provide guidance regarding disability-related policies and processes, including the interplay between various employment laws, regulations, and benefits. Serve as a liaison between employees, managers, and HR to implement the accommodation or adjustment and monitor its effectiveness. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.
Basic Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in a consulting role in human resources, leave and disability management, or workplace accommodation
Experience with handling and maintaining confidential and sensitive information
Experience in using attention to detail to maintain organization of, follow up, and follow through with service requests and reach outs in a tracking system
Ability to use customer service and interpersonal expertise to work with employees and internal teams
Ability to build strong relationships, manage the needs of employees and the business and influence others in a cross-functional environment
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Ability to be detail oriented and analyze, problem solve, and organize and manage multiple priorities
Ability to use follow-up expertise in a fast-paced environment
Ability to utilize strong verbal and written communications skills in case management to support requests made by employees and applicants as well as to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors
Compensation:
The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is $75,000 to $85,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
