Zero Trust Infrastructure Architect

Key Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Enterprise Architect with a strong understanding of Zero Trust principles to join our growing security team. Work with clients to deliver designs, implementing, and maintaining a secure enterprise architecture that aligns with Zero Trust security best practices. Use your expertise to assess existing infrastructure, develop secure solutions, and guide the overall security posture of the organization. Collaborate with security and IT leadership to define and implement a Zero Trust security architecture across the enterprise IT landscape. Conduct Zero Trust assessments to identify vulnerabilities in existing infrastructure and develop remediation plans based on Zero Trust principles. Design and implement secure solutions that are based on Zero Trust principles, such as minimizing privilege, leverage segmentation, and enforce strong access controls. Develop and maintain technical documentation for the Zero Trust security architecture, including diagrams, policies, and procedures. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in Zero Trust security and industry best practices. Work with application and system owners to integrate Zero Trust principles into their security frameworks. Participate in the evaluation and selection of security tools and technologies that support Zero Trust principles. Monitor and analyze security logs to identify and respond to potential security incidents. Participate in security incident response activities as needed. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience defining, establishing, and leading business development and solution delivery with commercial clients in a fast–paced environment

  • 10+ years of experience across cyber security and information technology

  • 8+ years of experience in Security Architecture or Engineering

  • 5+ years of experience with platforms, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or VMware NSX

  • Experience in developing a high–performance team with multi-industry Cyber domain expertise representing technical viewpoints to diverse audiences

  • Experience creating reference architectures across multiple infrastructure arrays

  • Experience architecting infrastructure solutions within enterprises, AWS, Azure, or GCP

  • Experience with assessment, development, implementation, optimization, and document builds

  • Experience performing threat modeling and design reviews to assess security impacts

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-based architecture, including AWS or Azure

  • Experience with security automation and orchestration tools

  • Experience with security frameworks, such as NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, and CISA's EINSTEIN framework

  • Experience with security automation and orchestration tools

  • Knowledge of network principles, such as ZTA, SASE, SDDC, SDP, or WAN/SD-WAN

  • Knowledge of security frameworks that inform risk and design considerations

  • Ability to leverage client relationships at senior levels within the market across key stakeholders

  • CISSP, CISA, Security+, CCNA Security, or relevant security or IAM certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
