Key Role:
Establish and manage data access and support practices for Microsoft SQL Server. Apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise, including full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Design, install, configure, and maintain database systems to meet organizational needs. Monitor database performance and proactively identify and resolve issues. Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data availability and integrity. Ensure database security by implementing access controls and monitoring user activity. Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to design and implement database-driven applications. Develop and maintain database documentation, including schema diagrams, data dictionaries, and system documentation. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other stakeholders. Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in database management and administration.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in database administration
Experience with SSIS, ETL, and SQL Server, including SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, DB Optimization, and Layout
Experience with Azure
Experience with database management systems, relational database concepts, and database administration tools, including Oracle Enterprise Manager, SQL Server Management Studio, or MySQL Workbench
Experience with data modeling, database design principles, and backup and disaster recovery technologies and techniques
Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Database Structure and CDW Data schemas
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree
Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator, or Azure Database Administrator Associate certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
