DevSecOps Lead

The Challenge:

That’s why we need you, an experienced DevOps engineer, to help us shorten the time it takes to get critical tools developed and into the hands of range engineers that support space launch and range operations who need them to transform our range architecture from analog to digital range.

As a DevOps engineer on our team, you'll use your development experience to streamline our software development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You'll lead efforts to incorporate open source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious, boring tasks and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best – innovate. You'll implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. You'll lead and accelerate change enabling continued industry development in furtherance of U.S. national military, economic, diplomatic, and information objectives. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like cloud-based development, virtualization, and data integration while developing software that will improve the agility and responsiveness of our space launch ranges. As a technical leader, you'll identify new opportunities to build software solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges. You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience developing software applications

  • 5+ years of experience in software design, development, and deployment for government and commercial applications

  • 2+ years of experience leading software development sprints

  • Knowledge of Agile software development practices

  • Ability to work effectively in Scrum and development teams

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with programming languages, including C++, SQL, Java, JavaScript, anPython

  • Ability to communicate clearly in briefings and written documents
